[Tile-serving] [osm2pgsql-dev/osm2pgsql] PostgreSQL processing stage - output ideas (#207)

The alternative output format proposed does look nice and helpful, but it would clash with the other output we do which is more in a log format. It is already not so great that when the output is written to a file we get thousands of copies of the same text for the progress messages. A log would not be usable if the go with the output format proposed here. In ten years we didn't act on this here, so I am closing this now. If anybody has a good and concrete idea on how to improve output, please open a new issue.
