I apologize for sounding insulting in my previous mail. This was not my intention either.
Thanks for liking the experimental low-zoom. I think it's a definitive improvement. I misunderstood your mail as complaining that it's not based on the current data and that triggered my grumpiness button, I guess.
As the Zappy API is experimental, I am not sure whether it's currently updated at all. And if, it's updated manually. But being based on planet.osm it's probably going to be weekly (or 2-weekly, I odn't know how long the import takes. I could imagine that the planet diff's will speed up the updating of databases, so weekly might be possible)
I hope you are not offended, that was not my intention either.
