If the original version killed performance, then just remove the 
function, since the current incarnation doesn't update the display. It 
just gives me the same 20 tiles, dated mid november (user id 60).

I can manually go through the tilesinfo function in the future, if I 
want to check tiles. The recent uploaded display of tiles is a 
nice-to-have function, but not something really necessary.
