There was suggestion on IRC to use /dev/shm as a temporary directory for
unzipping uploads - any comments on whether this is a good idea?
(my impression was: disk "hdd" which houses everything used in the unzip
process (the zip files, the temporary directory, and the final image
directory) has 20% the throughput compared to disk "hda" which isn't involved
in the unzip process at all, so disk access for the unzip operation is
unlikely to be a bottleneck)
