I'd say go for it. If your server has a similar (or better) availability
as the main upload server (I stopped thinking of it as "-dev" some time
ago...) the impact on the clients should be negligable.

I love that idea. I'd love a possibility to query your data for a given
area (like "select number_of_maplint_errors where tile in <my pet peeve
area>") even more. I was thinking about downloading the stats file and
processing it, but your statistics would be even more up-to-date ;-)
