[Tilesathome] Default layer transparent

have u tried this out?
this was not a real transparency, it looked only good on white, or
nearly white background. Around the roads there was a white shadow.

If we fix this shadow thing i vote for a transparent bg, but for now it
should be this way. Decided on IRC.
