I would be very happy to accept such an offer, given that dev doesn't seem to be quite up for the job, currently. If I got access to the server I think i could set up a t at h server within a couple of days and transfer the user authentication data over.
Copying over the tiles themselves would probably be prohibitively long though. All we would need to do is point the tah.osm DNS name to the new box and the change should be invisible to everyone (as all have switched to tah.openstreetmap now, it seems)
How long would the server be available for us? I wouldn't want to invest the efforts if we could keep it only for a week or two.
I talked to crschmidt on IRC and he will give me access to the box, so ii can set up things. Let's see if it works out well.

No, none reason AFAIK

We are currently at something like 350GB, so we would need around 500GB to get some breathing space, the more the better of course :-)
