As long as you like. I can't offer an SLA for the machine, but in the
past 9 months, it's only been down for about 48 hours -- once for moving
to a new rack, once for a California University-wide Router outage.
My only concern is that there are infrastructure things beyond my
control which could knock the box offline. I'll work with HyperJohnGrahm
to see what the expectation is for the server; I'd like to be able to
get at least a vague idea of what kind of service level we can expect.
