[Tilesathome] TAH rendering error

Hi,

I'm trying out the batik with the latest TAH. Following download, I get the 
following error:

This is version 5425 (Mannheim) of tilesgen running on linux
[#1   0% jobinit] Doing tileset 2046,1362 (area around 51.481375,-0.131836)
[#1   0% default] Splitting /tmp//15798_part.png (1 x 1)... source is not of 
type GD::Image at tilesGen.pl line 1194.


Any ideas? Inkscape seems to work ok.
