I disagree. Traffic lights are not that significant in
forward-planning your navigation - that is, if I see a crossroads I
can see that I need to go right, but I don't need immediate
information about the traffic signals. The mini-roundabout symbol,
IMHO exists because, just as with full-sized roundabouts, you want to
see a roundabout-looking thing on the map. The older symbol was just a
scaled-down version of what a real roundabout might look like - they
allow you to infer the difference between a crossroads and a
roundabout. I wouldn't object to reverting lower zoom levels to the
old symbol, though (especially since the new one has the wrong
traffic-direction for driving on the left).

Strongly agree. In Ireland, a _lot_ of places are villages rather than towns.
