[Tilesathome] Lowzoom rendering

Can we still render lowzoom tiles with the new client ver and the new API? 
I changed layers to lowzoom in layers.conf and my client tries to fetch data 
from the server, but all I get is "No data here" and then it puts the job 
back to the server.  I've requested some lowzoom tiles that had data and I 
saw my client fetch them from the server, but they all died with the same 
message.

Is there some other config option that needs to be set in order to render 
lowzoom tiles?
