Done, and restarted.

I haven't got tile numbers up.
It was scrolled out in console screen.
With
nice perl tilesGen.pl loop > log.txt

But there just came:
$ cat log.txt

an undefined value as a symbol reference at /usr/lib/perl5/GD/Image.pm

Maybe I have to start it in terminal window in X, so it might preserve 
longer output history. It means that you will get after 24 hours.  
Piping to file doesn't seem to be useful.
