The low-zoom request queue works now. People can request low-zoom tiles and they will be handed out to those clients who are configured to render the layer "lowzoom".

The low-zoom tile-set issue remains, but that can be fixed on the server side.

So, if you want, you can start rendering experimental low zoom tiles now. Just configure you recent client to render layer=lowzoom and make sure that it uploads into the "tile" layer and not the "cycle" layer (which is the experimental low-zoom layer).

All which is left to do then is somebody who requests low-zoom tiles.
