This is pretty unintuitive and means the lowzoom tutorial on the wiki
and probably a lot of other stuff is instantly obsolete.

Would you mind implementing a configuration option that indicates that
I know what I'm doing by having locally modified files, or at least
make it ignore configuration files.

(I know about the version number hack)
