It sounds like you're trying to render using a rules file file that has 
a <bounds> element where the attributes are given with commas. Since the 
<bounds> is inserted by tilesGen.pl, it probably is a problem there. 
What you can do is uncomment the "unlink" calls in tahlib.pm and re-run, 
then investigate the temporary files that have been created.
