I wanted to do it for some time now, I didn't have the time to do it though.

A munin plugin is a pretty simple executable, it has two ways of being
launched, with a config directive where it returns information on what to
store and how to graph it, and without the config directive where it outputs
the data. It should be easy to do so in Perl. (But I don't have time to do it
these days.)
