[Tilesathome] Unnecessary re-rendering of tiles?

After browsing some areas using the new captionless and caption layers most of those tiles have been queued for rendering as server:MissingTile but for those areas the "tile"-layer tiles existed.
Is it possible that the db.php fallback script does not handle different layers properly?
