No it doesn't. Or rather, it doesn't accept my OSM username and crashes 
with a 500 (about a thousend lines of output on the console) when I 
tried to use the email address instead.

The diff file you posted on that web page is nice, but I wonder how 
people found the correct URLs to put into general.conf before your mail 
of 11.07.2008 15:45 ...

"Server has no work for us" actually means "Server doesn't like our 
credentials"...)
