Pfeww, that makes me glad. :-)

You will need to use the full OSM email first, to check your password on the server. (It actually might work with the shortname, I don't know the OSM server authentication well enough). Afterwards, it would theoretically work with your OSM short name or whatever if used to represent you in the TAH user listing.
It will try to show your short OSM user name first and only if that contains "weird characters" (like spaces :-) ), it will fallback to a sanitized e-mail adress as your user name (which will be displayed in the user listing). I do this as this needs to be unique. I will try to always show the OSM user name in the TAH server pages in the future. But first things first.

Which is weird, as wrong credentials lead to a reply:
"XX|4|Invalid Username. Your username and password were incorrect or the user has been disabled."
(check it out by going to http://tah.openstreetmap.org/Request/take/ and entering a wrong password). The tah client checks for this, I believe. But I will have a look at the client and see whether something needs to be adapted.

http://tah.openstreetmap.org/User/show/
This must do for now. Unfortunately, there is no way of automatically translating old usernames to new usernames (nobody but you will know that), so it has to be done manually. If people ask me with their old username and their osm-email address, I will manually transfer the stats from the old to the new server. It's only 300 people or so...

Thanks, let's see if it all holds together.
