True, but in projects where many have to deal with the source, it is
often straightforward, and most programmers have the self-discipline
to refrain from "showing off" by implementing complex stuff in one
line.

In my (personal) opinion, most programming languages *allow*
obfuscated code, but XSLT, applied to a task like map rendering,
practically *enforces* it ;-)
