I am just now starting up a few of my T at H clients after not running for
quite a while and I'm seeing that same error. The info at the beginning of
tilesGen.pl in loop mode looks like this:

- Using working directory /tmp
- Using process log file tah-process.log
- Pngcrush version 1.6.4
! pngnq version 0.4 too low, needs to be at least 0.5
! disabling pngnq
- Java is not available
- ImageMagick version 6.2.4 (lowzoom disabled)
- rendering using or/p
inkscape: no such variable
! Inkscape version 0.45.1 too low, needs to be at least 0.46 for
RenderStripes=0 setting
This is version 11950 (Trondheim) of tilesgen running on linux, ID: 16204
- rasterizing using SVG::Rasterize::Engine::Inkscape
! You have a broken version of Inkscape, 0.45.1. RenderStripes=0 will not
work
* Take care to manually backup your inkscape user preferences
  if you have knowingly changed them.
  Some tilesets will cause inkscape to clobber that file!

I feel like I've seen these errors/warnings before and have run just fine,
but obviously something is wrong now. I'm running on a headless Ubuntu 7.10
server.
