Hi OSM t at H fellows,

as I did some boinc stuff years ago I wonder how much work such a client
would be. Probably it would be a pain in the as to get everything linked
and intgrated against their API.

The good thing would be that you could use really large userbase and
machines (I think of a nice PS3 with cell vector GPUs) that are not easy
reachable with the current client.

Has anbody a clue how much work a boinc ( http://boinc.berkeley.edu )
client is?

I noticed that the unstable client checks for java, is that used in
anyway?
