Committed as revision 11055.

I did some updates on the wiki, but haven't updated the package lines
for distros other than debian and ubuntu.

The only thing I wrote on the Windows page was something Ed mailed me,
and I think his setup might be a bit special so the people running
perl 5.8 may have to do things differently.
