[Tilesathome] Windows Client on dual core / windows ", " problem

It's a bit of a hack, but I just run two separate processes each using a
different temp folder.

Just checkout the t at h client twice, to two different folders. Do the normal
config stuff, but set each client to a different temp folder. In
tilesathome.conf set WorkingDirectory=c:\temp in one and
WorkingDirectory=c:\temp2 in the other. This way there's no danger of them
clobbering data from the other process.

Works fine for me on several renders I have running right now.

Subject: [Tilesathome] Windows Client on dual core / windows "," problem

Hello !

In the Wiki it is said, that running the windows client on dual core systems
will leads to corrupt tiles. I run the actual client on a dual core
Vista system
and everything looks fine.

Only the "."/"," - problem on systems with system setting "german" still
exist
(both on XP and Vista systems) - am I the only person with this problem ?

see my posting from 24th Sep.:

>My windows client successfully takes the first job but all following jobs
>fail during download.
>Now I change my windows (system) settings to english ( "." as decimal)
>and now my client is taking job after job :-)

regards

Olf
