I've not sorted it yet, but the response I'm getting when the app
goes into a continuous failure to check server load loop is "500
read timeout".
I've not fully tested my theory, but I have noticed that it seems to
be while BOINC is running that the upload fails with this error -
I've only just noticed that "Snooze" only seems to suspend BOINC for
an hour. I've set all BOINC projects to "No New Tasks" and am
completing those that are running (about 24 hours work left total),
and will then try T at H again to see if the upload is more reliable
when BOINC isn't using all those unused processor cycles. I don't
think it has ever failed yet while Boinc is snoozing.
There are various other issues having the Perl window visible
reveals. The main one I can remember is that rmtree at line 708 of
tileset.pm fails - all files come back as Permission Denied and the
folder then couldn't be removed as it wasn't empty. Whether this is
because the path uses \ and the character between the path and the
filename is / I don't know. I have to keep an eye on the tmp folder
and tidy it manually occasionally (and IIRC I have to close T at H to
remove these folders as they are still locked until I do so).
As a reminder I'm using Windows Vista (in case this relates to the
permission denied message).
