I noticed my wife's machine trying ROMA last night (I made the Perl
window visible; her machine seems to have the same upload read
timeout error mine gets after the first tile or so works OK, and she
isn’t running BOINC so that seems to rule that out as a potential
problem on my machine). I wondered what that was.
Incidentally, while I'm posting...
If you look at
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=51.8314&lon=1.1588&zoom=12&layers=
B00FTF
and switch to the Osmarender layer all looks great.
However, if you zoom in to closer layers, some tiles seem to have
reverted back to data over a week old (roads, disappearing and
becoming reclassified), and some tiles completely inland are showing
as sea.
Is there an obvious reason why the rerender I requested yesterday at
level 12 will have worked at level 12 but not at 13 to 17?
I won't request another render of it yet; perhaps this evening if I
get change lunchtime to go trace some more roads and add them after
work.
Ed
