The download has never been too fast. But for now I'd guess it is broken 
or at least drastically slowed down on the server side. I get the same 
problems on my Ubuntu VM, which always has done a great job for t at h 
rendering.

But for now it seems there's no chance to download and render 
2179/1421/12, even on Ubuntu.
