The only workaround tiles at home does, that I'm aware of, is that the
client squeezes the rectangular SVG into a square Tile,
and secondly when selecting the stripes from the SVG.
If the SVG is properly projected we can throw a lot of code out, and
even reduce the amount of inkscape calls dramatically (At least for less
complex tiles), because we can export one huge 8192x8192 px PNG for z17
and cut all 1024 tiles from it in one go.
