Looks fine. It's not particularily nice of it to remove <bounds>, but
it shouldn't matter.

Those tags are from what I know the reason that processing is done.

Try to find out exactly how tilesGen calls orp.pl (or osmarender.xsl),
the bounds/bbox parameters are passed on the command line.
