[Tilesathome] Merge -dev client into stable?

Right, each release in a separate tag.  Which breaks the current
update mechanism.

There are several ways to fix this.  One of which could be to stop
auto-updating the client and only update the styles.  This has been
suggested before.

What do users think about this?  Do you want more control over what
software is running on your computer?  Or, do you want not to be
bothered with updating the client occasionally?
