Yes, I would like to start offloading some of the traffic from 
tile.openstreetmap.org by distributing traffic to *RELIABLE* squid cache 
servers. Traffic is now 5.4TB/month and growing.

Roel, could you contact me offlist... are you able to run squid on port 
80? Would you be willing to give OSM sysadmin(s) sudo access?
