[Tilesathome] TAH server setup help needed

Hi,

I did setup my basic TAH site. It also started serving requests to my
t at hclient, they uploaded and my slippy got running.
I need help in two problems please.
1) my slippy has lots of white boxes. firebug shows "server error" but when
i open that URL directly, it does show me the PNG. My tile server (a,b,c) is
the same machine. please suggest why this may be happening
2) how to i make z<12 tiles in this setup?  (I have prepared a TRAPI server
to get OSM data.) I don't even know how to put a request for z<12 tiles and
then how will my t at h clients render it?
