Some style issues:

I'd like to know your opinion on the t at h styles: Currently at z17 sport
amenities seem to have a border when they are tagged as a node and no
tag when they are tagged as a way.

I don't like those inconsistent icons and I find the ones with borders
to be pretty much dominant and too big:

Would people agree if I always made them borderless?

FYI:
Hospital icons were cluttering up cities way too dominantly. I have
completely removed them from z13 now and turned on a slight suppression
of hospital symbols when they are too close to each other. E.g. multiple
hospital buildings next to each other made the map look awful. That is
much better now.

On an unrelated issue: I wonder if osmeone could look into making the
cemetary pattern bigger it is just ok in z17 but is unrecognizable at
lower zoom levels:
