[uMap] Using an existing map as background

Yes. You can use your own background map and adjust viewport of the map you want to show by default. 

Create a new map and then click the pencil in the upper right corner - a toolbox will open. There, click the gear icon and put URL of the map tile server you want to use into the Custom background field. Fill in the min and max zoom values and optionally the credit field. 




Then, - in the same sidebar - scroll down and you will find Limit bounds section. There you can just click the Use current bounds if you see the section of the map you want to show by default or type the viewport boudaries manually in.



Save and you should be good to.
