Hi,
Forwarding this message to the Umap mailing list.
And adding that I observed the same behavior today, during a demo of Umap.
Nothing happened when I clicked on the "key" icon to change permissions
and editors.
Usually this opened a frame where permissions could be specified and
editors added, so it looked like a bug to me.
Hoping that reporting this bug can help get it fix, and help mappers in
Croatia.
And pointing to Valent as a workaround that there is another instance of
umap, on https://framacarte.org, that apparently has another version of
umap that does not suffer from this bug.
There, clicking on the key icon on a new map gives a choice between
"Anyone can edit" and "Editable only with secret edition link".
Kind regards,
Jean-Guilhem

Hi,
as you probably know, the center of the 6.3 magnitude earthquake was in
Croatia.
Hrvoje is doing an amazing job running the Ushahidi map that helps a lot
of civil and humanitarian organizations.
I'm part of a humanitarian telecommunications team, we have a lot of
volunteers wanting to help so we need adhoc maps that would help us to
quickly organise and help as many people as possible.
We need a map platform that we can have multiple editors, so we tried
using umap and our map is located here -
https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/sistemci-pomazu-glini-petrinji-i-okolici_544385
<https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/sistemci-pomazu-glini-petrinji-i-okolici_544385>
But we can't figure out why the button labeled "Update permissions and
editors" is now working. We would like to have multiple editors. Any
ideas how to enable umap to have multiple editors? Is this possible? If
not, is there any other solution that you would suggest we try?
If this is not the right mailing list, please point me in the right
direction.
Kind regards,
Valent.
