Hi,
*TLDR*: I cannot edit my anonymous map, can an Admin please dig out the
edit url or even better, just delete? It is now obsolete.
https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/big-wood-bird-boxes_1002839#18/51.58349/-0.18882
I am a new user and I am creating a map of bird boxes for our local
community group. Last year when trying out uMap to see if it would meet our
needs I created this map:
https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/big-wood-bird-boxes_1002839#18/51.58349/-0.18882
But I have lost edit rights to it. I have now created a login and created
the complete map here:
https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/friends-of-big-wood_1058290#18/51.58337/-0.18743
It seems that as a newbie, I have stumbled into a common trap and created
an anonymous map and then unwittingly lost the magic URL which contains the
editing rights.
I created a Forum issue here:
https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-can-i-delete-a-map-that-i-have-lost-edit-rights-to/112101
And they helpfully suggested that I needed help from the site admin.
Searching the wiki (
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UMap#Feedback_and_help) suggested that
sending something to the mailing list was the right approach.
If an Admin sees this, and you are not busy doing much more important
things, could you please delete the map for me? Otherwise, apologies to
everyone else if this is not the correct forum.
Thanks in advance for any help with this,
Mark
