May I suggest to send a quick "ack" on the mailing list when the issue
has been delt with, even privately? Otherwise it feels like this is an
open issue for everyone - or that no one took care of it.

Also, can https://github.com/umap-project/umap have more information
on who fund the development, who maintains the repository and how to
contribute?  I'll open an issue on the repo.
