[Osmf-talk] Notification of User Ban

The Board of the OpenStreetMap Foundation was made aware of public admission [1] 
by
User Anthony to using Google Maps as a source for tracing data into 
OpenStreetMap.

The OpenStreetMap project takes copyright and data licence infringement very 
seriously
and will act quickly to suspend or ban users and remove data that is clearly 
infringing.
The community maintains a well known stance on the use of Google Maps [2], and 
there
is no tolerance for willful disregard of this policy.

The Data Working Group banned further contributions by this user, and the Board
has notified the user directly. From here, the DWG will be working to remove all
contributions by this user from the database.
