Daniel, you want to build a device to print tactile maps.
That sounds cool.
But when this one device is broken,
all your work is worth nothing any more.
Please think of a way to make your project work reproducably.
On many (standard) devices.
All over the world.
For many years.
(Just the same requirements as for database design...)
I don't like the thought that (this) HaptoRender (fork) could become a one hit wonder and will be forgotten when you start working on anything else for your living.
There are so many university projects (for blind users), that ended when the persons left the institute. Let's not start another project of this kind.
