How are the front page design discussions going?

We wanted to let you all know that the Communications Working Group are delighted to not be responsible for this :-)   ...but we'd be happy to help with any communication aspects of the design process.


There was the idea of running a design competition. I think this would have to be thought about quite carefully in terms of how to frame the competition rules and communicate it, in order to get something good out of it. I have a few ideas around that.  ...but it looks like you're going back to basics and thinking about audiences first which is probably a good thing.

The 'Front Page Design' page needs tidying to move all talk onto the talk page. I'll try to do this unless somebody beats me to it.  Hopefully useful as a gallery of ideas, so we should add the mock-up from Steve's latest presentation.
