Hello Richard,

On another topic, how's your "potlatch" editor coming along?

One of the things I want to do is improve/replace the applet with an editor
specialised for editing countryside data - basically a "default" editor for
Freemap, so that Freemap users wishing to contribute countryside data via an
online interface can go to an easy to use 'default' editor rather than trying
out the applet, osmeditor2, JOSM, etc.

I've been playing around with prototyping a countryside-orientated editor
using the canvas tag and AJAX but if potlatch is ready soon or will fulfil
this need then I could promote it as the 'default' editor for Freemap users.
I'd be willing to help out on potlatch (assuming actionscript is similar to
JS - I think it is) if that would help.

Nick
