Bit slow of late after I had a little cycling mishap, but the rendering
bit is working nicely now (slippy map and styled ways) and I've made a
start on the editor. The version on dev isn't current but I've posted a
screenshot of the rendering at:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Image:Potlatch_render.jpg
where you can see Flash lines superimposed over the current
tile.osm.org renderer.

I do have a first release date in my mind but won't admit to it because
it'll only slip. :) Yes, some help might be great. I'll look at tidying
the code up and implementing a bit more editing, then let you know.
Functional ActionScript is really very, very easy if you know
JavaScript and PHP.
cheers
