i think it should create a way if there's only one segment, and it
should also provide a way to select multiple segments to create a way
out of them..

sad that neither java (1.5) nor flash work on my Linux/PPC (glad i've
still got os x for mapping) - but this isn't about me, there aren't a
whole lot of linux/ppc users which would be worth the trouble
