You could get the original client at 
<http://www.bittorrent.com/download.html>. Keep it running in the 
background and just drop the torrentfile from 
<http://torrent.openstreetmap.org/> into the same directory as the 
bittorrent client, it will start downloading the planet dump automaticly.
