Sorry, I must have missed your answer from last week. And searching on google 
for 'Tom Hughes +"OSM-dev" svn site:lists.openstreetmap.org' didn't give me a 
clue either...

But if it only works sometimes. It is a little difficult to keep ones svn 
checkout up to date.
