Hello,
I am interested in mapping part of the area I live in. Since I am a newbie
I would prefer to setup a local copy of the openstreetmap server, and to
upload tracks and .osm files to the real server when I am satisfied that the
maps I create are correct and they need no changes.
In other words I would prefer not to use the openstreetmap servers until I
am sure that the information I am going to upload is 100% valid.
Are the instructions to setup an OSM development system the once I must
follow to setup a local OSM system??
Another problem I have is the following. I have uploaded to the server
several map segments using josm. After I uploaded them I realised that these
segments were not 100% valid. Is there a way to erase the information I
uploaded to the OSM system??
Any help is welcomed.
Best regards,
Napoleon
