If we want to combine efforts, i think it would be the easiest to include the 
complete Costlines into the Main OSM Database. This way we only have one 
Dataset to work with. And not every rendering engine has to deal separately 
with these issues. We simply have to import it once into the OSM-Server. And 
after this we can correct the coastlines and use these. 
This way we could use the same data also inside josm, gpsdrive, 
osmarender, ...

What do you all think about this?
