[OSM-dev] can you help with the Nestoria tiles?

Nestoria was the first commercial user of OpenStreetMap last year, for the Isle of Wight map .. http://www.nestoria.co.uk/isle-of-wight/property/buy
The cartography has improved a great deal since then, and we'd like to update the tiles there.

The tiles are just a bit custom, and so I'm looking for a volunteer to help produce the tile set. Nestoria wants Isle of Wight to be OSM, and the mainland to be Google.
Since tiles overlap both, this requires a custom rendering.

The basic idea would be to load osm data covering the Isle of Man into JOSM and delete data over the mainland. Save the result locally, and render tiles with mapnik. The sea would be rendered transparent rather than blue. There might need to be some manual tweaking of the coastline, since Google and OSM have different opinions on where the coastline is (so Google's coastline is revealed in small spots, if the sea is transparent).

As a token of appreciation, Nestoria will give the volunteer a Moleskine London City Notebook (sorta like an analog OSM) emblazoned with Nestoria's logo.

If you're interested to help, contact me directly.

Mikel
