Preferably in different timezones. Have you guys invested the
possibility of SMS alert on critical system status? If these primary and
secondary sysadmin have sms alert activated, their response time might
be influenced positively. No more than 2 or 3 trusthworthy people per
server sounds perfect.

Aye, his or her first responsibility would be to set up the admin teams
and maintain continuity in the admin teams.
