A couple of problems with putting the addresses on nodes: The nodes
can't be on intersections, and divided highways as separate ways get
even uglier.  Personally I don't care much about address information on
the maps (I have seen very few paper maps with address information, for
one thing)... also, putting address info on segments is nearly as ugly
as putting it on nodes, and I'm sure those who actually *do* care about
getting address info in, can go about solving the problems with
address-nodes as easily as they can with address-segments.
